China 3rd PICMG Tech-Forum was held in Beijing in Oct 27,28,2004. PICMG-China and ADLINK organized this event. Compared with the past two forums, there are 15 exhibitors to show their ATCA and CPCI products. And more than 800 audience attended 21 session speechs in two days. The speakers come from Intel, Kontron, NMS, SBS, CCPU, StarGen, WindRiver, Acqiris, Pickering and China Unicom.

Mr. Jeff Munch, CTO of Adlink, told the reporters that ATCA will be deployed widely as the 3G communication is coming soon. PICMG-China believe that the continuous promotion activities would help Chinese companies follow the open specifications so as to not only prevent their investment but also catch the new technology development.
